I have an easygoing personality. I would describe myself as a strong silent type. I am confident but not arrogant. I also consider myself a Renaissance man. I can build or fix anything, but I can also intelligently discuss issues ranging from physics to art history. My daily dress is business attire, but I prefer wearing jeans or shorts and a T-shirt. My politics are conservative for financial, the defense and gun control issues, but liberal on many social issues. People should be able to pursue what ever floats their boat. Owning my own business has given me the freedom and resources to provide a comfortable lifestyle. I am very happy with the cards that life has dealt me. Recently retired and self-supporting. I'm about 185# and a bit over 6 feet tall, with shoes on. (And I always show up for a date wearing shoes.) I'm a W/M, non-smoker, single, never married, no kids, no pets, no drugs, no STDs, no baggage to speak of, no criminal record. (Feel free to investigate any or all of this.)
I'm originally from Detroit (a good place to be from) and have lived in San Diego since 1972. Don't own a rocking chair and have no plans to buy one. Like to dabble in things.
Would like to do a bit of traveling, but it is no fun alone.
Like checking out hole-in-the-wall restaurants. It's fun, but I have been burned a few times. Don't watch much TV.
Camping is not real high on the list, but I do like to go exploring for the day, whether it is in the mountains or desert or along the coast or in an unfamiliar town and, along about sunset, find a nice hotel or motel--preferably one with a restaurant inside or directly across the highway.

Im a native Angeleno. Ive lived abroad (Spain & Mexico) and have traveled a lot. I have a Mediterranean spirit and a Latin heart. Practitioner of New Thought Spirituality. Currently working on a masters degree in cultural anthropology.I have my own company with a partner (market research and strategic consulting).

Ive been married twice. Have not dated much for the past 2 years while doing coursework for my masters. Im now more focused on finding a good friend that has the potential to become a lover and partner in life. Yes, Im looking for a committed relationship.

Ive been in therapy off and on over the years to clean out past debris, and in general, Ive done some solid work on myself, including 3 courses of the Landmark Forum. I consider myself stable and loyal. I believe Im a compassionate listener. I can make decisions easily and I am not fearful of living life to its fullest, which means taking risks.
